My client, a top Asset Management firm, is looking for an Italian Speaking Marketing Person.

Job Description:

Collaborate with the Italian sales team to help define and evolve the value proposition for our services. Tailor the message to suit different segments, testing the value proposition in the market, refine message as services evolve.

Develop and execute an integrated plan of marketing activities to support delivery of the Italian business plan through the following activities:

  • build the brand, and recognition for the firms excellence in Italy (advertising, PR, thought leadership, events)
  • ensure the Italian website content is always accurate and up to date, in order to drive demand.
  • enable the sales effort (marketing collateral, content management).
  • understand the market: lead efforts to better understand the target market and competitors.
  • manage the client communication agenda.

Work with marketing executives and marketing specialists (brand, design, eBusiness, PR, Internal Comms) to deliver the full suite of activities.

This also involves being the first point of contact for all requirements from the Italian team.

Manage the marketing budget, working with Italy management to establish the plan, manage ongoing spend, and monitoring.

Measure the success of the marketing effort, using Key Performance Indicators such as share of voice, marketing-generated contacts, marketing-generated leads, feedback on speakers and events, visitors to blog, visitors to website, etc.

Use internal communications channels to keep associates informed about the products and services, and build buy-in for making our services as successful as possible.


  • Ability to work independently, and as a team player with the Italian sales team and EMEA Marketing team.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage priorities and multiple projects.
  • Ability to manage external suppliers (advertising agencies, media agencies, giveaway suppliers, etc)
  • Understanding of the Italian asset management market: service providers, client types, consultants, services provided.
  • Ability to run a virtual team to deliver cross-functional projects.  Clear communication, both written and verbal
  • Proven execution skills
  • Fluent Italian (this is absolutely essential)
